With more than two decades as a photographer, I explored ways to develop my artisanal skills. Printmaking was the perfect medium for what I wanted to create and allowed me to become a visual storyteller through my art. I started Lino Lord in 2019 as a way to tell my story.
Based in the coastal town of Falmouth, Cornwall, my work reflects the rugged landscapes and quiet moments found along the shoreline.
For me, linocut is more than just an art form. It is a way to slow down and reconnect with the physical world. There is something deeply satisfying about the resistance of the lino under a sharp blade and the magic of peeling back a piece of paper to reveal a fresh print.
I believe that art should be accessible and tactile. I’ve spent years refining my "purist" approach to printmaking, focusing on traditional methods that anyone can master at home. My goal is to help you move past the fear of making mistakes and find the same sense of focus and calm that I find in my studio every day.
