What you can expect

Step-by-Step Tool Setup

I’ll walk you through everything you need. From choosing the right lino to understanding which carving gouges create the best marks, so you can set up your studio anywhere.

Carving, Inking & Printing

You will learn essential physical skills, including how to hold your tools safely, control your carving pressure, and apply the right amount of ink for a clean print.

4 Complete Projects

We will work together through four specific designs: an ammonite, a scallop shell, a boat, and a coastal scene, taking you from a beginner to a confident printmaker.

Tips & Troubleshooting

I’ll share my personal techniques for fixing "patchy" prints and give you bonus lessons on carving difficult textures, such as water, clouds, and foliage.

My goal is to help you move past the fear of making mistakes and find the same sense of focus and calm that I find in my studio every day.
